River and Fifth Overview
River and Fifth Project Details
River & Fifth Toronto is Broccolini’s new condominium development currently in preconstruction in Toronto.
Located at 5 Defries Street, along the banks of Toronto’s historic Don River, and only 10 minutes from the downtown core, River & Fifth Toronto offers owners a lifestyle that fuses nature and urban life. Residents will benefit from the comfort of Toronto’s east end community and greenspaces while also enjoying easy access to everything the city has to offer.
The project is rising up in the up and coming Corktown neighbourhood, home to hotspots like Underpass Park and to a host of great foodie destinations: local eateries, restaurants and cafés.
River & Fifth will be a 37-storey glass tower and podium that is destined to become an instant icon in the Toronto skyline. The tower will house a total of 580 refined residential units, from studios to 3-bedroom suites. The condominiums will range in size from 340 to 1400 square feet.

Broccolini launched its operations in 1949 when founder Donato Broccolini built a single-family home in Montreal. From his beginnings in the industry, Donato always stressed the importance of honesty, integrity, perseverance, and an entrepreneurial spirit. But perhaps the most significant values he lived by were the importance of developing lasting relationships – with customers and collaborators alike – as well as an emphatic pride in producing work of exemplary quality.
Over the years, these values helped him to develop the trust and confidence of his clients and the business quickly progressed from smaller, more modest constructions to projects and ventures that paved the way for expansion, establishing the basis for the company as it is today.
